It has been almost 2 weeks since we went and seen the airplanes "land" and "takeoff" on Otsego Lake. Linus still talks about them as if it were yesterday. When he says takeoff and points up, we sit there in amazment for the fact that our child knows what takeoff means. He can even still tell you the colors of most of the airplanes he seen. Of course, Eugene did take pictures and shows Linus once in a while. He could sit on his daddy's lap for hours and just look at the airplane pictures and tell stories.
With him being interested in so many things, its hard to decide which way to decorate his room.
He likes Airplanes, Nemo, Trains, ABC's, Blocks, and other things. Especially Frosty the Snowman. ( :
He got an octopus toy from Mema for his 1st Christmas that sings the ABC's. Linus has just recently loved hearing them and he can almost tell you all of them. LMNOP are his favorite. If you could hear him say them, you would just say AWWWW! He would rather listen to daddy sing them instead of me. Not sure why though. LOL.
Some days, Linus drives me a little crazy and I get mad when he won't listen to me. Last night when I was in the kitchen making myself a bagel pizza for dinner, Linus ran up to me and hugged my leg and said "Love you Mommy, to moon back". I have been saying to him for a while now "I love you Linus to the Moom and Back, to the Stars and Back". Mema says "I Love you Forever and ever", and he says infinity. Every night he says to daddy and me Love you ever ever infinity moon back stars. I almost instantly forget why I was mad at him for earlier. He melts my heart with every loving word he says to me a Eugene. I have him say bye to daddy everyday when we leave for Mema's and he hugs daddy and says, love you daddy. If that doesn't make you have a nice morning, then I don't know what will.
Having Linus has changed me for the better. I have a little bit more patience. LOL. I show love more towards him. Just being with him has made me happier knowing he's mine and I never have to return him at the end of the day.He loves, loves to learn ABC's, songs and counting. So being able to teach him something that will help him in the future makes it all worth it.
Eugene and Linus are huge blessings to me. Can you count your blessings? Can you name them One by One? Count your many blessings and see what God has done.
