Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!

Tomorrow October 19 is my parents anniversary. They will be married for 33 years. WOW! That's a long time considering the times we live in. They we introduced through my Grandma Betty, my dad's mom. They ( my mom and her ) worked together at the Fenton Hotel. My mom was a mean and bitter lady at a very young age. Thank goodness for God's saving grace that changed her into a very loving, caring person. I really don't know if my dad was a mean old cuss or not. But being daddy's little girl, I'm going to say no. LOL.

Eugene and I and Chuck and Dixie have been married for the same amount of time. We got married within 2 months of each other. This coming year, we will be celebrating 10 years. I'm not sure what they have planned but I'm trying to talk Eugene into going on a long needed honeymoon. When we got married, we had just built a home and chose to stay there instead of going anywhere. Bad choice. Everyone needs that honeymoon period to just be together and not have to worry about work. When we got married, it was Memorial Day weekend so we had just 2 days being together and then back to work. Hard, very hard.

So here's to you Mom and Dad, for being the example "married couple" we have so needed in our lives. I know it's not easy, but you do make it seem interesting. ( :
