To start out, I got a little injury on Friday morning before I even got out of bed. My 7 year old cat decided that friday was the day she was going to bite me and puncture the skin. I had instant pain but it didn't end there. By 1030am I couldn't lift my arm at all without tears falling out of my eyes. I talked to my good friend Laura and she insisted I call the doctor and go in. Good thing I listened because I got a horrible infection that's still in my right hand and I can't move it still. I went back to the doctors yesterday and my doctor gave me a better med than what the other guy gave me. Hopefully I will have 2 useful hands by tomorrow. It feels a little better today but it still looks like I have a fake hand on. How annoying. Some swelling did go down. I have my fingers back, well almost. I need the pain to go away so I can get more work done here since I'm the only one here 6 days a week, every week. I guess the doctor said that she went through the "meat" in my hand and right to my tendons. OUCH!! I have constant pain in my hand and I won't even sleep in bed with my husband for fear he might bump me and cause me to yell. Sleeping on the couch is no fun when the cat still won't leave you alone. I have made her "appologize" by kissing where she bit me and giving me kisses on the cheek. She gets crabby about it alot but oh well, It cost me 2 trips to the doctors so she can "afford" her few moments of uncomfortableness. Is that a word?
In other words, Ron and Judy changed the babies name already. It's now Paige Suann Marie ( last name ). They did it to make Ron's sister feel better. They are really close so it only makes sense. Now I can tell people that she was named after me since my middle name is Marie also. WOOHOO!!
Well I better get back to work. I've got stuff to do today and it will take a while to finish it with only one "working" hand. I can type with my left but it hurts but I deal with it.
