And He's Off

My husband left this morning at 4am for the airport which is 1 hour away from our home. He is flying to Chicago then to Seattle. And he might have to stay an extra day. I sure hope not cuz I need him home with Linus and I.
Linus woke up and asked where Daddy was and I told him that he was in an airplane flying far away for work. He then asked to go to his mema's and papa's house so he can eat breakfast on his airplane downstairs. That boy is too smart for me sometimes. I told mema what he said and she laughed.

You know, growing up, I always imagined having children. I never really knew what is what like until almost 3 years ago when I became a mom for the first time. I can't even really remember what my life was like before Linus. Well, I do remember getting more sleep but that's about it. ( :
Eugene and I always talked about having kids from the beginning of our relationship. It just didn't happen in my timing. It happened in God's. Man, I am truly blessed with the child I have. I say that all the time but I just sit back sometimes and stand in disbelief of what I have. I have a healthy child, A wonderful husband and we both have jobs that are somewhat secure. What a blessing.

Can you name your blessings as we come upon Easter time? I for one am truly blessed to be able to call upon the name of Lord. He is my rock in hard times.
