Easter Candy

I was wondering, did you child(ren) get as much junk food as mine did? He got enough to fill a basket with just candy. I did buy my husband a couple of little things and myself 1 thing but the rest is Linus'. I quickly stored some of it so he doesn't think he needs to eat all of eat anytime soon. It's sad but he would rather eat junk all day long and skip the good for you food. I have been trying my hardest to steer him from it but Easter didn't help. Any suggestions?

I took their candy & put it away.
It's now rewards (I know you shouldn't reward w/ candy, but...) for good naps, staying dry all night, etc.
And I give very frugelly (is that even a word??!!), meaning, only one piece at a time.
Happy Easter!

I just popped over from MckMama's site, and I thought I'd share my two cents...

My boys got a TON of candy at the Easter egg hunts we went to (and from their grandparents). I saved a little bit of it to portion out to them over the next little bit and the rest they re-stuffed easter eggs with. Then we have handed them out to kids (and sometimes adults!) everywhere we go (the store, the doctor's office, etc...). We got rid of most of the rest of ours at the zoo today...and my kids made a lot of new friends! :)
