I don't know about you but I truly cherish my friends. I am trying to instill that into Linus. We had dinner over at a friends house on sunday evening and Linus and Avery were inseperable. It was so cute to watch as they followed each other everywhere in the yard and in the house. They are 6 month apart but Avery is very tall and oh so very sweet. Laura, Avery's mom, sent me a couple of pictures of the kids from that evening and I am so impressed at how they came out. Of course, when you take a picture or 2 of cute kids, they always turn out. If I could ever figure out how to load one or both on this dumb computer, I'd show you just how cute they are. Jeff and Eugene hung out outside with Avery and Linus while Laura and I were inside getting dinner ready and playing with and feeding Ashlyn. Oh man, friends are the best to hang out with. We had so much fun. Even with having busy lives, I always try my hardest to hang out with those I cherish. Well, after last weekend, I am starting right now to be a little less busy and to lend a hand or 2 to my friends when they need me. Or when ever they need to escape for a bit. Laura is a stay at home mom and the lady is always busy with her girls. I decided that her and I need a night away with just the 2 of us to do whatever we want.
And don't feel sorry for Judy, she and I are going to a Mom to Mom's sale this weekend and we plan on shopping for her 4 younger kids plus my Linus. It will be fun and a little bit stressful as you "battle" others for the best stuff. I did it before when Linus was a baby and man, are those women a little scary at times. Oh well, I'm up for it. Besides, like I said before, anytime spent with friends is a time I will cherish.
Do you cherish your friends?
