Friends

Friends are a gift from God.
After I graduated high school, I lost contact with all my "friends". I say "friends" because, after I graduated, I realized something. They were not my friends just classmates. I was never close to any of them. I couldn't tell any of them my dreams, my fears, my desires in life. I thought they were until recently but thats another long story. For years, my mom, mother-in-law and my husband were the only ones I could talk to.
4 years ago, I met Judy. She kinda intimidated me at first. She reminded me of one of those people you didn't want to mess with. : )
We met at church when she offered to help in the nursery when she noticed that I was always in there. She must have felt bad for me. She actually didn't like the craft I'd put together for the kids to do so she asked if she could help. Man was that nice cuz as she can tell you, I am not crafty at all. LOL.
Over 2 years ago, we were both pregnant. I had my first and she had her 3rd but her first girl. Our children Abby and Linus are good friends. They play good together sometimes but they do even better at getting in trouble.
She's been here for me whenever I have needed her. And I for her. She had a heck of a year last year so I keep telling her that this one will be awesome.
She's actually going on a well deserved vaction in a couple of weeks. And I hope she comes home refreshed.
I always thank God for sending her my way cuz she is the friend I have always needed.

On a personal note - I still miss you Zach. I can't wait to see you again.
