Linus

Alot of our friends and family ask us for updated pictures of our son. Since he will be 2 in less than 2 months, I thought I'd start here. Linus is full of energy. He's just like his dad, gets up real early and would stay up late if I'd let him. Loves to repeat everything you say. Right now, He's telling me that mommy and daddy are naughty. He tells everyone we know that we are naughty if we do not do what he wants. He's bright, loving, sweet, and talkative.He reminds me of me in a lot of ways. He's sassy at times, would just love to kick the cat and get away with it, Loves to eat cheese, and has a heart of gold.
Eugene and I were married for just over 6 years when we found we were going to be parents. Linus Alexander Euclid arrived in our family on April 8 at 12:43 am. I was going to try and have a natural birth but since I was having back labor and I was in labor for over 24 hours, I decided to have a c-section. I ended up having general anesthesia and didn't get to meet my son until almost 2am. Boy, was he worth all the wait. I sit back at times and think, am I really a mom? Am I really his mom? Then when he first smiled at me with that loving smile, I knew my world would never be the same. Thank goodness. There are days he drives me up a wall but then I think, What would I ever do without him? Linus has added about a bucket of joy to my heart. He makes me so happy just knowing that he's ours and we will teach him the things we want him to know.
We are having a Nemo birthday party for him this year. I really don't know why since I'm having a little hard time liking Nemo right now. We watch Nemo everyday. The child wakes up in the morning and says "Nemo?". Meaning he wants to watch Nemo. Again. We got a tv and dvd player for Christmas this year for our room and thats the only place where his video works. I'm getting a little sick of watching Nemo everyday.
