"My Sweet Baboo"

We have started to potty train Linus. It's not fun at times. But we have a found a little insentive to get him to go on the potty for us. Popcorn. The child loves that stuff. In the morning when he gets up, we ask if he has to go. He says no but then he thinks and looks at me and says, Daddy Popcorn? He knows that if he goes then daddy will make him popcorn before bedtime. It has worked for the past couple of days but I'm waiting for him to say no to popcorn.
This morning he said no to the potty only because he knew that Nemo was on tv in my room. So I guess I was a bad parent this morning cuz I make him a pancake and gave it to him along with applesauce in front of the tv so I could get ready for work. I went in the living room and told Eugene that Linus was in our room watching tv and eating breakfast. He laughed but then he went down there and watched him while I got ready. Usually I have him stay in the kitchen while eating but I was a push over today. Sometimes I think, if I can get him to eat anything, i guess I don't care where he eats it. And the good thing about having a dog is that if he throws it on the floor, Guinness is nearby to clean it up.

Oh and by the way, My Sweet Baboo is what Sally called Linus in the Peanuts comic strips.
And that is what Grandma calls my Linus. Her Sweet Baboo. And he loves it. She loves that boy so much.Watching Linus and his Papa play is priceless. He loves the fact that Papa will sit there and play with him.
