Snowmen

Yesterday was an absolute gorgeous day out. After I spent the whole morning doing laundry, dishes, and general pick up, we decided to go to Eugene's parents to build a snowman and let Linus have fun playing outside again. Let me tell you, it was the best family time in a long time. When we got to his parents house, a family friend named John was there. Linus loves saying his name over and over and over etc. Well anyways, we went out and Eugene, John and Eugene's mom Pat decided to have a snowball fight against Eugene's dad and his brother Tyler. It was fun to watch them but I hate snowball fights so I stood on the porch watching til they were done. Then Eugene decided to make a snowman in the middle of the yard for Linus. Pat made one too. But Pat's ended up having only one eye, a nose and arms. Eugene's was "normal" but a little deformed. It was funny to look at. Linus decided to go for a walk on the snow. Being only about 26 pounds, he can walk on top and not sink. Pat had to go after him since I had clogs on and didnt feel like having wet feet the rest of the night. John decided to throw snowballs and got me right in the face and ear. I so wanted to hurt him but decided to let it go. Eugene then figured that since I wasn't ticked at John that he'd throw some at me too. I told that if throws one more at me, that I'd take him down. He laughed and threw another one and I went after him. I can't knock him down so I decided to take him down with me. I was all wet but it was so much fun. Even when I was a little cold. Linus didn't want to go inside. He loves the outdoors.

What a beautiful day to play outside and have fun with family at the same time. Hopefully it continues to stay nice outside and all the white stuff will be gone soon.
