Winter Blues

I think it's safe to say that everyone is our home is suffering from a bad case of winter blues. We're tired of being inside all the time. It's time for the sun to shine and to melt all this crappy white stuff. I like snow but enough is enough. It has been snowing and blowing for the past 4 days and I'm sick of shoveling.
Linus would rather be outside playing in the yard, chasing the dog, and playing soccer instead of being inside. He loves when we say it's time to go cuz he thinks he can play outside but then when we get outside, he can't wait to get in the car cuz the wind blowing hard makes it hard for him to catch his breath. Me too.
My friend Judy leaves tonight after work for Florida. She's going to be there for 10 days. Soaking up the Florida sun. I hope she has a blast but I hope she can bring some sunshine home with her.

The sun just started to peek though the window blinds. There is hope for a sunny day here in Northern Michigan.
