Tomorrow

Tomorrow, my baby will turn 3. Actually, he will be 3 at 12:43am. I am so sad to see him grow up so fast but I am excited to see him grow in the Lord and serve Jesus with his whole heart. Yesterday at church, while we were in the nursery, he chose to pray for the "offering" and then he wanted to pray for the snack he brought to share for his birthday. We stopped at walmart on the way through town and he bought care bear gummies. I asked all the other kids if they wanted to pray and they all kept saying, No, Linus do it. He was willing too. It just melts my heart to hear him pray for things. Last night at around 6pm, I was hit with an instant headache that took me down for 1 hour and a 1/2. I slept on the couch for a bit and Linus heard me and asked me why I was sick. I told him that my head hurt and he came over and kissed it and said, you feel better mommy? I kiss you head and make you all better. Isn't that the sweetest thing you have ever heard? Then he had to hug me and say I Love You Mommy. I want him to say that all the time. He is such a sweet, caring, loving, active, busy, loveable 3 year old.

I am so excited about you turning 3. I will always treasure the infant stage of your life but this stage is so fun. You have taught me so much. Like, playing outside is more fun than doing laundry or doing dishes. You have brought sunshine to my life as well as your dad's. We have so much fun talking to you because you amaze us with the knowledge you have. Please don't grow up to fast. Remember that Mom and Dad are sometimes fun to hang out with. And always give Jesus your praises everyday. He will bless you in the end.
